Ready to welcome a Gemstone puppy into your life? Our adoption process is designed to be simple and supportive. Your first step is to contact us with any questions you may have, either by email atGemstonepuppies6@gmail.com or by phone at (440)225-1673. We're happy to chat! After that, we'll ask you to fill out our adoption application. This helps us get to know you better and ensures a perfect match for our healthy, loving puppies.

At Gemstone Puppies, our commitment goes beyond finding homes for our puppies. We meticulously review every application. While we are dedicated to providing you with a healthy, loving puppy, our highest priority is ensuring each of our precious pups goes to a happy, safe, and truly forever home. We believe in making thoughtful matches that benefit both our puppies and their new families, reflecting our love for breeding.

Preparing for your puppy's arrival

Bringing a puppy home is a joyful experience that comes with responsibility. Puppies require an abundance of love, consistent care, and dedication. This includes regular grooming, routine vet visits, and a high-quality diet. We highly recommend Purina Pro Plan Small Breed Puppy Food for at least their first year, transitioning to Purina Pro Plan Small Breed or Toy Breed formulas thereafter. We also require a vet appointment within the first week of taking your puppy home. While we understand busy schedules, scheduling this appointment is crucial – an appointment booked is what matters most.

Supporting your new family

Your Gemstone puppy will go home with a starter kit designed to ease their transition. This includes a small bag of their current food to get you started, a comforting toy, and a blanket carrying the familiar scents of their littermates. We initiate crate training and basic potty training, but please remember that full training takes time and consistency in their new environment. We suggest continuing crate training for a smooth adjustment.
